Tracey Ellis, co-founder of International Diagnostic Solutions, is a licensed occupational therapist and a board certified disability analyst. Her interest in research led to her participation in a large-scale brain injury research program with Henry M. Jackson Foundation, analyzing the efficacy of cognitive rehabilitation. Following this work, Tracey’s interests in access to healthcare and health/educational resources led to her research with the Centers for Health Services Research and Policy, focused on national healthcare coverage for children.
In 2000, Tracey launched Ellis Therapeutic Consultants (ETC), a Washington, D.C. based company serving the children and families of the nation’s capitol. ETC has provided therapeutic intervention and consultation to hundreds of children with learning disabilities and developmental delays, and continues to provide program development and support to educational programs throughout the city.
In addition to directing the efforts of her two companies, Tracey serves on the District of Columbia Licensing Board for the Department of Health Professional Licensing, as well as the board of Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors. Tracey is a volunteer consultant for the Ridewell Program, a therapeutic horseback riding program for wounded veterans in the D.C. area, and served for six years on the Executive Board of the DC Occupational Therapy Association, and for four years as one of the DC representatives to the American Occupational Therapy Association Representative Assembly.
Tracey received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from George Washington University, specializing in Maternal and Child Health. Since completing her fieldwork at Georgetown University Child Development Center, Tracey has provided evaluation and treatment services, expert testimony, and university lectures/workshops in the field of pediatrics and private practice for 18 years.

Katie Holloran has worked as a teacher, administrator, and consultant in the Washington, DC area since graduating from Georgetown University in 2000. Her love for teaching led her to earn her Master’s Degree in Special Education focusing on children with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities from the George Washington University with post-masters coursework for her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis at the Pennsylvania State University. Katie has served as an adjunct faculty member at Catholic University teaching courses on Behavior Management and Special Education Fieldwork.
Katie provides her expertise working with international families and educational professionals providing achievable strategies for behavior and learning support of children, adolescents, and teenagers. In her role as Director of Clinical Services, Katie’s coordination of the IDS consultant team and Insight from Offsite service model ensures that client schools and families are matched with experts uniquely suited to meet their needs.
Katie is passionate about educating children in a developmentally appropriate and supportive way. She consults on the use of research-based practices to understand learning and behavior, and creating results-oriented interventions. Katie has a remarkable ability to explain effective strategies of reinforcement through common examples of everyday situations.
Director OF FINANCIAL OPERATIONS
Stacey Nadeau graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a major in Accounting. While at UNC, she was President of the Beta Alpha Psi Business fraternity. Her work experience was with Arthur Andersen & Co. and as a controller of residential operations for a real estate developer. Stacey brings to IDS not only her accounting, management and leadership skills, but also knowledge of and passion for working with children with learning disabilities.
Stacey Nadeau did extensive volunteer work for 25 years, while she was a stay-at-home mom for her 3 children. Stacey served in leadership roles at the schools of her children, in their church and in the community. She served as the President of the Commonwealth Academy Parents Association for 3 terms and as the Treasurer at two schools and her church for a total of 14 years. Stacey also chaired many fundraising events, served on her church’s Finance Committee and on the Commonwealth Academy Development Committee.
