Lauren Foster, OTD OTR/L
Lauren Foster is a pediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience working in the home, community and schools. She has a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her research and practice efforts focus on feeding disorders, disorders of self-regulation, coaching practices and community-based supports children with disabilities. Lauren has published a number of articles on best practices for young children with special needs. Her practice philosophy emphasizes building on the strengths and resources of children and their families to promote child development.
Lauren is a military spouse currently living in South Korea with her husband and two daughters. She continues to work as an adjunct professor for the University of Kansas though online teaching and support.
