Tech Tip Tuesday : Online Math Practice!

How can you help your child with learning needs practice critical math skills online?

There are many websites with fun, creative games organized to help kids practice critical skills.  Today, we're sharing one of our favorite sites for parents and teachers of kids with special needs - Hooda Math.

FROM THE IDS TEAM:

This website is FULL of fun, creative and super helpful games for kids of all ages.  You can search for a specific type of skill or operation (addition, subtraction, logic, etc...) and you can also search by the appropriate grade level for your child.  If your child is in 4th grade but is learning at the 2nd grade level in math, you can search for perfect games in the 2nd grade category that will ensure he has fun but is also challenged!

Teachers can also create a Class Page on Hooda Math to organize their favorite games for students to practice at home.

FROM THE PROVIDER:

HoodaMath.com is a free online math games site. Founded by a middle school math teacher, Hooda Math offers more than 500 free math games that are played online by more than 3 million students a month. With more than 50 HTML5 games, students can now access HoodaMath.com on any tablet browser or mobile device.
