SCHOOL SUPPORT
Expert Support for International Schools and Globally-Mobile Families
LEADER IN ONLINE SUPPORT
At International Diagnostic Solutions, we bring licensed, credentialed specialists to schools and families online. We match school staff and families with the perfect experts to support their needs.
International Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) is a leader in online special education, with over a decade of experience working with schools and families to provide assessment services, direct therapy & consultation, educational support & coaching, and professional development.
As the first ever online special education team, the IDS leadership has helped define online learning support and the role of telehealth in bringing expert special education and therapy resources to families and international schools worldwide. The IDS network includes therapy and assessment professionals of all languages and cultures. Whether a child needs an assessment in Arabic or counseling in Japanese, our team takes care to make sure that every child’s strengths are highlighted as part of their learning support plan, and that their needs are supported in a way that is culturally and linguistically appropriate.
IDS DISTANCE LEARNING TRAINING FOR LEARNING SUPPORT STAFF
The IDS Distance Learning Training provides learning support staff with information, resources, strategies and tools to support online learning implementation with learners ages 2 - 22. This training pairs up to 5 IDS clinicians across disciplines with school learning support staff members. Our clinicians are skilled Telehealth practitioners with years of experience who are eager to share their online learning ideas and expertise with school staff.
The training is two-fold:
(1 hour) Didactic presentation of resources and strategies for learning support therapists and educators to implement while working with children in a distance learning format.
(1 hour) Interactive brainstorming / question session where clinicians answer questions of learning support staff members to increase their ability to adapt and implement strategies learned in the didactic training portion of our time together.
This combination allows for a true application of skills and strategies learned through opportunities to ask clarifying questions, pose real-life questions based on past experiences, and provide case scenarios with experts. This individualized training will support staff members in their ability to execute high-level, effective and interactive interventions online while students are participating in distance learning.
IDS OFFICE HOURS
The IDS Office Hours solution provides an opportunity for your educators to connect with skilled, licensed, and experienced Telehealth clinicians online. Real-time questions and solutions help teachers stay ahead of SEN challenges and put SEN resources at the fingertips of educators and families. Our goal with IDS Office Hours is to make clinical and educational expertise available to your teachers and school staff that is specific to your students, directly applicable, and immediately actionable within your school setting. IDS Office Hours boosts your school’s resources with an additional online special education team.
The format for the IDS Office Hours is direct face-to-face conversation with a clinician online - you’ll be able to ask your questions and engage directly with your expert, much like you would if you had us on a team as onsite special education providers. Resources, strategies, helpful links, and next steps are provided to your team members following the online meeting, so that your educators know exactly what to do next to support students and families in the distance learning and in-school environment.

WHAT DO FOLKS SAY ABOUT OUR WORK?
“One of the things I’ve found so helpful with IDS is that I can go online with a team and say, “you know, I’m concerned about this student, these are the things that I’m seeing...what would you recommend as my next step?” That’s been such a relief for me. I don’t need to know all of the answers, I can use IDS as our team of supportive professionals.”
“IDS is a wonderful and powerful resource to have available and it’s SO easy to work with them.”
